- Fremdkörperaufnahme möglich oder sogar beobachtet? –> Röntgen!
Standardtherapie
- Maropitant 1mg/kg s.c. (Prevomax) (evtl. q24 p.o. zum mit nachhause geben)
- evtl. Sucralfat: Hund 0,5-1g TID, Katze 0,25-0,5g TID p.o.
- Falls dehydriert: s.c. Infusion (v.a. Katzen)
- +/- Pantoprazol 1mg/kg p.o. (Umstritten)
- Schonkost (Hill’s i/d, Hühnchen + Reis)
- Probiotika (zB Sivomixx)
- Zusätzlich möglich: Metoclopramid, Ondansetron
Besitzerkommunikation
- Wenn Erbrechen trotz Maropitant –> Klinik! Fremdkörper wahrscheinlicher!
